I have decided to keep this simple. These are the pads that I use, so I’m going to make this a single option for the full package. Each pad is available a la carte in the polishing section of this website. You can very easily build your own custom package by utilizing the cart.Â
- RUPES White (Ultra-Fine) Foam Pads:Â I use these with a finishing polish like
Sonax Perfect Finish
, Menzerna 3800, or M205. These can be used with Rotary or 12mm Dual Action movements.

- RUPES Yellow (Fine) Foam Pads: This is the pad I use more than any other. I most often use with
Sonax Perfect Finish
. These can be used with Rotary or 12mm Dual Action attachments.

- RUPES Coarse (Blue) Wool Polishing Pad:Â These wool pads are preferred over the microfiber for the nano because they produce less heat. These can be used with Rotary or 12mm Dual Action attachments.

- RUPES Medium (Yellow) Wool Polishing Pad: These are less aggressive than the blue wool. They can also be used with both attachments.

- Lake Country HDO Microfiber Cutting Pads: Microfiber gets really aggressive with such a small pad. Do not use these with the Rotary attachment. I use these primarily with
Jescar Correcting Compound
and occasionally with Meguiar’s M100.
